Dr. Itzkoff is a Psychiatrist in Private Practice in Manhattan, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She graduated from Cornell University as co-valedictorian of her College class. Dr. Itzkoff attended Medical School at NYU School of Medicine and completed Psychiatry Residency Training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Itzkoff received the Adele Zinberg Award for Women's Leadership in Psychiatry upon graduation from residency at Sinai. 


Dr. Itzkoff maintains a private practice in Manhattan, Bespoke Psychiatry, where she treats mood disorders, including depression and bipolar illness, anxiety disorders, adult ADHD, memory disorders, substance abuse, and eating disorders in a warm and practical setting. 

 

Dr. Amanda Itzkoff, MD is trained to use both medication and talk therapy to treat all psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse and dependence, as well as eating disorders. All patients are treated in a non-judgmental, warm, and strictly confidential environment. Dr. Itzkoff completed undergraduate education at Cornell where she graduated as co-valedictorian of her college class. She then attended NYU School of Medicine and completed the Mount Sinai Residency Training program in Psychiatry as well as a Mount Sinai Fellowship. She continued on in her career as a staff Psychiatrist for in inpatient Psychiatry at Mount Sinai, where she remains on Faculty. Dr. Itzkoff was also selected as the winner of the Adele Zinbeg Award for Women's Leadership in Psychiatry.

Dr. Amanda Itzkoff is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has been selected for numerous honors, but is particularly proud to have been the recipient of the "Most Compassionate Doctor" Award in 2010 and 2011 and to be have been selected for the Patients' Choice Award for the fifth year in 2012. In 2015, Dr. Itzkoff was added to the list of Super Doctors "Rising Stars".
