About Paul

Dr. Paul Leon Ramsey is executive director of A Little Help, a Denver, Colorado-based nonprofit that connects neighbors across ages to enhance lives and strengthen communities. Paul is passionate about the mission of A Little Help and the pairing of volunteers with their senior neighbors to help them stay and thrive in their homes.


Paul has more than twenty years’ experience building organizations and promoting positive social change.

He is the first full-time Executive Director of A Little Help and is actively involved in building stronger neighborhoods.

He currently serves as the Chair of Denver’s Commission on Aging; on the Commission’s Advocacy Committee; on the Village to Village Network’s subcommittee on Promising Practices; and as a member of the Colorado Senior Lobby and Generations United. 

He is also the Pastor of Mayflower Congregational Church United Church of Christ in Englewood, Colorado.


Paul holds a Doctorate from the Iliff School of Theology. He earned a Masters of Divinity from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor’s from Abilene Christian University.

Paul is active in his daughters’, Grace and Lucy, activities and enjoys wrestling with his son Park and black lab Oscar. He is an avid reader, musician, aging athlete, and Denver sports teams fan.
