Best Sports Bras for Full Figures

The right sports bra can make or break your workouts, but if you're a full figured woman, finding the right one can seem impossible. You need something that offers comfort and support without feeling like a straightjacket.

It may take some time to find the right one, but the following options may make the decision a little easier. Below are some of the best sports bras for fuller figures.

The Enell sports bra is a consistent favorite among full-figured, pregnant, and nursing exercisers. The Enell uses encapsulation (which, like a regular bra, separates your breasts into different cups) and compression to provide comfortable support. In her review, former Running Guide Jesslyn Cummings offers this endorsement: "Enell bras are as close as you can come to leaving your chest at home." Can't beat that with a stick.

Moving Comfort is known for their variety of sports bras, and this one was made with curvy women in mind. It fits C-DD cup sizes and it both separates and compresses, giving you a a flattering fit and comfortable support. The wide straps are comfortable and there's a seamless underwire for support. This bra is another favorite for the full figured woman doing more high impact activities. It's also made of sweat-wicking fabric, which keeps you dry and helps avoid chafing.

This is one of the most comfortable sports bras out there for fuller figures, offering lift, support, and a flattering silhouette. The seam-free molded cups encapsulate, providing great support for higher impact activities, and it also has adjustable straps. Sweat-wicking fabric and mesh zones keep sweat away from your body, and it has an adjustable back closure that makes it easier to get on and off. This bra fits women up to 38DD and is great for high impact workouts.

This is another favorite bra for full figured women, offering that great encapsulating/compressing technology that is both flattering and comfortable. As the bra experts at Title 9 Sports say, your breasts "don't look like they start somewhere in the middle of your back." It's made of sweat-wicking fabric to keep you comfortable and dry as well. This bra is best suited for women with around C-D cups doing higher impact activities.

The Powersleek is a good overall choice for fuller figures, offering maximum motion control for C-D cups, high motion control for DD cups, and medium motion control for DDD cups. Like many of the other bras mentioned here, the Powersleek offers encapsulating, molded cups for shape and support, and wide, cushioned straps that adjust in the front (a nice feature). The padded band makes for a comfortable fit around the rib cage and the back closure makes it easier to get this one on and off.

The Women's Curve Crusader is another good choice, but more for medium impact activities, and offers support for A-DD in high impact exercise. The straps cross in the back, which is flattering, but you do have to pull it over your head, just so you know.  The fabric is breathable so sweat is wicked away from your body, leaving you dry and comfortable.

This one gets lots of great reviews on Amazon because it offers full support, wicks sweat away with a mesh panel in the front and it has adjustable shoulder straps.  And?  You don't have to wrestle it over your head because it has a hook-and-eye closure in back.  No bounce, no pinching and no uniboob.

This one is similar to the Glamorise above, offering full support for low and high impact exercises.  The shoulder straps are cushioned and adjustable and you can remove the pads if you want.  It also has comfortable seams and hook-and-eye closure.  It's also a great price, at around $23.00.
