Some runners find inspiration through passages in the Holy Bible. Here are some biblical passages that mention running or can be applied to running.

1. "Survey the path for your feet, and all your ways will be sure."
-Proverbs 4:26

2. "Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us."
-Hebrews 12:1

3. "No testing has overtaken you that is not common to everyone. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing, he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it."
- 1 Corinthians 10:13

4. "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance."
-Romans 5:3

5. "The God who has girded me with strength has opened wide my path.
