Actor Chris Hemsworth is a dad of twin boys. His wife, Elsa Pataky, gave birth to the twins on March 18, 2014, in Los Angeles. The couple made an appearance at the Academy Awards earlier that same month with Elsa wearing a beautiful, revealing evening gown to showcase her twin baby bump.

The babies' names are Tristan and Sasha. Their parents jokingly referred to them as "Thor and Loki" in an Instagram post, a reference to Hemsworth's movie character.

The couple married in 2010. The twins are their second and third child; daughter, India Rose was born in May 2012. Hemsworth was 30 when the twins were born, while Elsa was 37.

Hemsworth is an actor known for playing the role of Thor in the 2011 movie of the same name. He played the same character in the 2012 superhero ensemble movie, The Avengers, as well as sequels to both movies. Other movies include Star Trek, Rush, Ca$h, The Cabin in the Woods, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Red Dawn.

Chris Hemsworth is from Australia, where he started his career on television as a soap opera star. He appeared on the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars. He is the middle of three brothers, and all of the boys are actors. His younger brother, Liam Hemsworth, is known for his role in The Hunger Games series (as well as being engaged to singer Miley Cyrus).

The mother of Chris Hemsworth's twins is his wife, Elsa Pataky, who is also an actress. She's originally from Spain and best known for her appearances as Elena in the Fast and the Furious movies, and for Snakes on a Plane.
