I believe that all individuals should have the right to manage their fertility and have access to accurate contraception information. I understand the personal issues surrounding birth control use. Being mentored through Planned Parenthood, I have had the amazing opportunity to experience people's real-life struggles and joys in the area of reproductive health. As a contraception advocate, I would love to see everyone make safe sex choices. I understand your concerns and am so fortunate to have real-life experience -- seeing, firsthand, how contraception and reproductive health decisions affect all of our lives.
I also love educating others about mental health issues. Unfortunately, there is a stigma surrounding mental health. It is essential that we break through this stigma and start having real conversations about mental illness. I have years of experience providing psychotherapy and teaching about psychology. We all have the right to be happy and should have access to mental health services.
