The Sunshine State offers many walking opportunities through every season. One feature of Florida is that is has no features, it is extremely flat. If you hate hills, this is the place to walk. It also has more coastline than you can shake a walking stick at. If you love beach walking, you won't lack for sand to stroll on. However, be warned that Florida is also one of the worst places for pedestrian safety, with Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Miami topping the list of dangerous walking cities.
