How To Increase Your Luck

As a kid, I used to spend time thinking about what I would do if I had a magic wand or friendly leprechaun, and my biggest wish was always for 'unlimited wishes'. What I didn't realize then is that there are, in fact, ways that you can increase your chances of making all of your wishes come true--almost like having a little magic up your sleeve! Realizing that you have more options than you may realize, or more power in your life than you think can also help relieve stress, as your problems start feeling more like challenges that you're able to meet.

One of the best ways to maximize your power and increase your luck in life is to become an optimist. Optimists are healthier and happier, and feel less stressed because of this.  Among other things, optimists tend to get more of what they want and less of what they don't, and they let setbacks roll off their backs.  Optimists employ a specific thinking style that, particularly when combined with a realistic sense of awareness, can lead to more success in life and many other benefits.  Learn to think more optimistically, and you can be luckier as well.

Another way to increase your luck--a method that many people swear by--is to employ the Law of Attraction in your daily life. Some people see it as a spiritual way of life, some people see it as a practical way to hone in on goals and maintain motivation, and some see it as a way to put optimism into action.  As the Law of Attraction relates to motivation, optimism, and happiness, it definitely can bring many benefits, and help you to make dreams come true--or at least move further toward what you want than if you didn't focus specifically on your goals.

Whether you believe that it will bring you everything you wish for, or you just expect it to clarify your goals and work harder to achieve them, it can be an effective tool for going after your dreams.  Here are some ways you can put the Law of Attraction into action.

A third way to feel lucky in your life is to focus on maintaining an attitude of gratitude for what you already have.

This not only lifts your mood, but can help you to notice opportunities you may be otherwise passing up or taking for granted.  Gratitude helps relieve stress and increase luck because it helps you to notice all the luck you have, and to create more for yourself.  You may find that you feel quite rich and blessed already, in ways you didn't realize before.  One of the ways to make gratitude a greater part of your life is to start a gratitude journal.

All of these methods can help with stress management, and all are simple, effective ways to feel lucky in your life. And they're all better bets than chasing down the magic, wish-granting unicorn of my childhood daydreams.
