I am your food allergies expert and am excited to bring you up-to-date information about food allergies, current research findings, practical mom tips, and easy recipes that will work in your home. I have worked with many families with food allergies in my career, and I have a son with a tree nut allergy. I welcome your questions and comments!
I completed my early nutrition education and experiences in Boston, completing my dietetic internship and working at Massachusetts General Hospital as a pediatric dietitian, and then at Children's Hospital as a nutrition support RD. After taking some time off to start a family, I opened a pediatric nutrition private practice in Nashville, TN where I helped families with food allergies, celiac disease, esophageal esophagitis and other food sensitivities. Currently, I live and work in CT, where I work as a consultant, speaker, and author/ freelance writer. You can find out more at my official website.
