In addition to being a Cystic Fibrosis expert, Lori Alma is a registered nurse who assists and educates families in a State of Florida Department of Health program for special needs children.
Lori has been educating and advocating for patients as a registered nurse in many areas of the hospital community and community at large for more than 20 years.
Lori graduated from Hesston College in Kansas with an Associate of Science in Nursing and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. She then received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix. Currently, she is enrolled in coursework toward a Master of Science in Nursing at Loyola University in New Orleans.
The thing that I enjoy the most about nursing is having the ability to enrich people's lives through education. I truly believe that knowledge is power, and I work hard to empower my patients to take control of their health care.
