Mark Foley, DO, is a fully-licensed family physician and acupuncturist.
As an osteopathic physician, Mark has spent a number of years diagnosing and treating pain. His private medical practice consists mostly of pain management, with many patients seeking relief from migraines and headaches. He has successfully integrated traditional medical treatments with alternative and complementary techniques such as Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, herbal remedies, and acupuncture.
Mark is a firm believer in medical education and has spent much time speaking to and training other medical professionals in areas such as pain management, holistic healing approaches, and work-life balance. A balanced life is the main goal of his medical practice, an office he runs with his counselor wife.
Mark Foley has a Doctorate of Osteopathy from Midwestern University--Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He attended family practice residency at the Penn State University/Good Samaritan Hospital Family Medicine residency program. He gained certification in Medical Acupuncture through the New York Medical College. Mark also holds a bachelor's degree in Japanese from Brigham Young University.
Mark is actively pursing certification in herbal medicine and spends time understanding how both traditional and alternative medical treatments can help people with a variety of conditions, including headaches and migraines.
I spend my days treating primarily people in pain. Headaches are very common and many of my patients come seeking relief. In talking to them I come to understand how pain can significantly disrupt and disturb normal living. It has been my professional goal to help as many people as possible increase their quality of life through approaching each individual using the Mind-Body-Spirit model.
