You have some of the risks and symptoms of a thyroid condition. For the purposes of our quiz, that puts you in the "possible" category.

Do you ignore it? Put it on the "to do" list to talk to the doctor? Or take action now.

The issue is - there are an estimated 60 million people with thyroid conditions in the US, and the majority are undiagnosed, suffering with symptoms of weight gain, depression, high cholesterol, anxiety, hair loss, infertility, and more - and they don't know why!

Given that you have some of the risk factors and physical symptoms, it's a good idea to talk to your physician sooner rather than later and have a thorough evaluation, including a clinical examination and blood tests.

Your answers indicate you have quite a few thyroid risk factors and symptoms. Don't worry - you're not alone! It's estimated that as many as 60 million Americans have some sort of thyroid condition and are not diagnosed.

If you're one of these people, it's likely that your thyroid is underactive (hypothyroidism) - which is most common. Less commonly, you may have an overactive thyroid, known as hyperthyroidism.

Remember, this quiz is not intended to diagnose a thyroid condition; it's to inform you of common risks and symptoms. But even with a handful of risks or symptoms, you could still be an undiagnosed thyroid patient. So visit your physician and let him/her know that you're concerned about your thyroid. It's your best path to wellness!

Quiz: Could You Have a Thyroid Problem?

You got: You May Not Have a Thyroid Problem

I got You May Not Have a Thyroid Problem. Quiz: Could You Have a Thyroid Problem?

Your quiz results don't indicate that you are showing many risks and symptoms associated with a thyroid condition.

BUT... that doesn't mean you don't have a thyroid condition!

Some people can have a significant thyroid problem and only have a few symptoms. But some thyroid symptoms can be doozies, like high cholesterol that doesn't respond to statin drugs or recurrent miscarriages.

So, you can have an undiagnosed thyroid condition - even with just a few symptoms, or the less common ones.

Our recommendation? If you even answered "yes" a few times on the quiz, there's a chance that something is going on with your thyroid. Better safe than sorry. Ask your doctor to do a thyroid evaluation so you can rule out your thyroid as the cause of any symptoms you might have.
