Using your cookie cutter, trace several shamrocks. (If your child is old enough and has the dexterity and fine-motor skills to do this part, he can do the tracing; if not, he may be able to cut out the shamrock, punch the holes, or thread the ribbon, which are the following steps of this fun kids' craft.)

Cut out the shamrock and punch a hole at the top with your hole puncher. Thread the ribbon through the hole as shown.

4
Keep threading the shamrocks through to make your garland.

Continue feeding the shamrocks through onto the ribbon, spacing them out evenly. If you're working with different shades of green for your shamrocks, alternate them to create a more interesting effect.

5
Tape the shamrocks to the ribbon to help them stay in place.
