Theme Chess Sets

These chess sets aren't going to change the way you play chess or add any unique twists to the game play, but they will delight chess players who find their favorite characters from various movies, books, and history as the pieces in the chess sets. Whether it's Star Wars, Harry Potter, or the Simpsons that you are fond of, you'll find some chess set that has those stories as themes. The themed games listed here are just a few of themed chess sets available. Most are attractive enough to leave sitting out in display when a game isn't being played. It probably makes more sense to use your child's interest and chess playing ability to decide on a set rather than the recommended age.
