Toilet Gag Gifts

For People With IBD Who Have A Sense Of Humor About Their Disease

Most people who have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) have a pretty well-developed sense of humor. After all, you need to find the funny in certain situations or you'll wind up feeling sorry for yourself. To that end, here are some silly gag gifts that people with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and their friends and family might enjoy. But just remember -- make sure everyone is in on the joke when you're giving these as gifts. After all, we're laughing with each other, not at each other! Right?

American Standard Toilet Mug

Doesn't everyone who wakes up in the morning and stumbles into the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee, tea, or even water, deserve to drink out of something that fits their personality? Here's where the toilet mug comes in. Not only is it distinctive, but it also holds 12 oz of liquids. As a matter of fact, think about taking this mug to drink out of at work because no one will ever borrow it.

Toilet Keychain

What do you think of when you think of keys? Of course you think of toilets. Because when is it that you are frantically looking for your keys to the front door? When you have to go to the bathroom, of course. So why not just make the connection and have done with it. Plus, this set comes with 2 keychains -- because you need a number 1 and a number 2.

Most people with IBD feel as though they have seen the toilets of the world. But this book actually does visit and photograph toilets all around the world. Everybody poops, of course, but how and where humans from cultures around the planet do it is as different from one another as you can imagine. This is a great book for anyone who has an interest in the loo.

Money Toilet Paper

Look, toilet paper is expensive. Especially the good stuff, not the cheap stuff or the recycled stuff. And people with IBD go through a lot of it. So, when you think about it, toilet paper might as well be made from dollar bills. That's where this money toilet paper roll comes in. Wiping with money is the ultimate in luxury. You'll feel like the richest person in the bathroom.

Toilet Clock

I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want this clock. Yes, it's a toilet seat, which is so visually appealing, but it also makes realistic sounds. A flushing sound, every hour on the hour. I mean, how charming. And just think, for people with IBD, it could actually serve as sort of a "white noise" machine for the bath -- no one will know if it's the actual toilet that was flushed, or if it was the clock. Perfect when you don't want anyone to know how much you "go."
