Indian Summer (1993)

Indian Summer movie

One of my favorite movies, Indian Summer is a sweet, endearing romantic comedy about a group of camp friends who meet up at their old sleepaway camp as adults. Great cast, tons of camp memories and a perfect movie when you want to feel nostalgic about camp. It will make you miss your camp friends, for sure.

Addams Family Values (1993)

Addams Family Values movie

A childhood favorite of mine, Addam's Family Values is a funny spin on camp movie and great for older children who may not fit the typical camper mold. Wednesday and Pugsley are shipped off to summer camp and reject all the typical camp activities. In typical Addams style, the kids find a way to add some creepiness into summer camp.

Dirty Dancing (1987)

Dirty Dancing movie

In this fan favorite, Patrick Swayze steals our hearts as a dance instructor in a Catskills resort in the summer of 1963. So many quotable lines makes Dirty Dancing a must see. My favorites are "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" and "I carried a watermelon."

Camp is a movie for lovers of Broadway. This movie has no typical camp cookouts or campfires, but has tons of performances and character development. Camp is charming, honest and incorporates lessons about ambition and acceptance. Anna Kendrick shines as an attention-starved camper.
