Fitbit Family - Zip - One - Flex - Charge

Fitbit has a big share of the market for fitness bands and smart pedometers, for good reasons. I've worn every model since they debuted and I love tracking my steps, distance, calories, diet and sleep quality. You can view your data on your smart phone via a Bluetooth-connected app or on your computer via a USB stick. See your history of activity and track your diet, blood glucose or blood pressure. You can have it post your totals to Twitter or Facebook if you want, or share them with specific friends. It works with both PC and Mac and had no additional subscription fee to track your activity online. For a less-expensive model that doesn't track sleep, there is the Fitbit Zip. If she prefers a wristband pedometer, you can go with the Fitbit Flex, the fashionalbe Fitbit Alta, Fitbit Charge, Charge HR or Surge superwatch.
