When will I be able to sit, walk, and exercise after a labiaplasty?


Patients are able to walk comfortably within a few days of the procedure and can return to work within a week. Patients can return to most activities except for those that will create a direct pressure on the area. This includes certain exercises and sexual activity.

The healing process varies from patient to patient.

Patients are not completely healed until the incision area has fully healed. Any exercise regimen should first be cleared with the surgeon. When exercising, begin slowly and advance as tolerated. As exercise levels intensify, patients should wear fitted exercise clothing with padding in the crotch area.
