The Winter Wonderland of Lights is held each year at Portland International Raceway, Portland, Oregon. Walkers have two nights when the track is closed to cars and they can circle the racetrack past lovely light displays featuring the 12 Days of Christmas and other themes.

The Doggie Walk Night is held each year, usually on the Monday after Thanksgiving, and costs $6 per adult, with children under 12 and dogs free.

Runners and walkers can enjoy a Winter Wonderland race night, either as a pre-Thanksgiving Turkey Trot or soon after Thanksgiving. The host and format may change from year to year. Check the listings.

The Winter Wonderland of Lights is held each year at Portland International Raceway, Portland, Oregon. It usually includes a dog charity walk night. It's a fun time to bring dogs and kids to circle on foot and see the lighted displays.

The Hood to Coast Turkey Trot is scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2016. The race start time at 7 pm, after at the sunset time.

Wooden soldiers salute in a giant display at the Winter Wonderland of Lights at Portland International Raceway, Portland, Oregon. This display comes near the end of the walk around the two-mile track as walkers head back to the finish.

Nearby to Portland International Raceway, the Queen Anne Victorian Mansion boasts the "Miracle of a Million Lights" throughout most of December. You can stroll their 2.5-acre grounds and enjoy a hot drink at their gazebo cafe. The mansion is located at 1441 N. McClellan St., Portland, Oregon. Admission is $2 to $4.
