"Knowing that most cardiovascular disease is preventable, I am passionate about helping others understand their risk for cardiovascular disease and how to lower that risk. One of these risk factors is obesity, which has become epidemic in our country. Raising awareness of the medical issues related to obesity and educating the public is one of many contributions I hope to make to help fight this epidemic."
